San Miguel de Allende has long been in need of a good burger house. Here it is.
Oliver's Burger House at 37 Correo has a great choice of gourmet burgers. If you want a trip down memory lane you can also get a milkshake and probably the best fries in town.
As of February, 2010, OLIVERīS BURGER HOUSE has moved to a new location at Zacateros #10 between Umaran and Pila Seca. Besides their delicious burgers, they now also offer tenderloin filets with a variety of special sauces. Reasonable prices, too. Try them.

Hi, I was on Correo today, and I found out Olivers Hamburguers have SE RENTA instead of their great Menu. Where did they move? I'm starving for those holy hamburguers!

Not to worry. Olivers' is still around. They are moving to another location on Zacateros near Umaran, not far from their original spot. As soon as they re-open, I will post the information. Gotta love those burgers!

Olivers has moved! No longer on Zacateros, it is now located at Correo 37. The space is a bit larger and more central; the burgers are just as delicious.
I've edited Bob's initial submission to reflect the new address. Elly tells me the phone number and hours are the same.

The secrets out: Oliver's Hamburguesas (Hamburgers) in San Miguel De Allende offers the best burger cuisine south of the border! My sister and I ran across this tiny little restaurant while visiting San Miguel De Allende over the Holidays in December 2008. We couldn?t believe our taste buds! These burgers are sooooo good! The carefully-thought-of menu offers a well-balanced variety of international burgers (my favorite: the Canadian), each offering a unique flavor that leaves you wanting to quickly return to San Miguel or never leave at all! My taste buds tell me that proprietors Jesus and Elle Otero use only the finest select sirloin in preparing these burgs. They also offer a variety of soups, my favorite being the French Onion Soup, which adds a special touch to an already incredible experience. I have cooked thousands of burgers in my day, but none compare to the ones found at Oliver?s Hamburguesas. This restaurant is a MUST DO in San Miguel De Allende! I look forward to my prompt return to Olivers. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

Oliverīs in my opinion has the best burgers in San Miguel de Allende. They have at least 10 different burgers with great sauces and mine have always been cooked to perfection. Iīve tried the others and there is no comparison. Oliverīs is the best.

Just tried Oliver's burger house. They are very very proud of their burgers. However, they over-cooked mine and my husband's burgers--I asked for medium and there was absolutely NO pink in the burger. When I pointed it out to them, they defended the way that it was cooked-saying that medium is no pink--well, I suggest they "google" how to cook a hamburger medium--which is red in the middle surrounded by pink and then grey-brown.
If you want a really great burger, go to Don Quixote's in San Antonio--fabulous burger, perfectly cooked and almost twice the size as Oliver's for 53 pesos. Second choice for burgers is the new place on Macias--Hamburgesas de Hamburg.
I won't go back nor will I recommend Oliver's Burger House.
