We locals here in San Miguel de Allende are delighted with the arrival of a restaurant that offers creative, serious, carefully prepared food.
The setting of The Restaurant is lovely. The wait staff is well trained. The wine selection is excellent.
The Restaurant's owner, Donnie Masterson, is a seasoned chef who relocated here after having successful restaurants in Los Angeles. Prices are high for San Miguel de Allende, but low for a comparable restaurant in the U.S. I think you get good value for your money here.
And I, for one, am soooo happy that The Restaurant is here!
