Eat in their formal dining room or opt for their outdoor flagstone patio with fairy lights and parrots. Beautifully decorated with wrought-iron cages and lush plants, it makes for an exotic dining experience.

Start your meal with the complimentary smoked marlin on a toasted garlic chip. The most yummy thing I have tasted in years. Main courses were just this side of heaven, and salads were imaginative and original. The menu changes daily to reflect seasonal availability.

One of the more expensive restaurants in San Miguel, Dos Casas is a restaurant for diners with eclectic tastes and a healthy pocketbook. For a special night out this is the #1 restaurant I would recommend.

Dos Casas is definitely San Miguel's best kept secret.
